Research Director
Stack Data Strategy is a leading opinion research and data analytics firm based in London and serving clients around the world. We work with political parties, companies of all sizes, government departments, NGOs and agencies around the world to help them and their clients deeply understand public opinion, how it affects them, and how they should respond to it.
Our election work has driven successful campaign outcomes for national parties in the UK, US, Australia and Canada, and has helped investors exposed to election risk by providing accurate forecasts in those markets and others as varied as South Africa and Mongolia. Stack’s proprietary MRP models are tried and trusted by seasoned operatives, and combined with our data science capability and deep campaign experience provide a best-in-class solution.
We apply those techniques in the corporate world and across verticals. Our expertise has helped natural resources firms to reset relations with governments and build reputational advantage, major infrastructure projects to navigate public sentiment, and technology firms to understand risk and opportunity in the consumer and regulated space.
We have developed data products to power decision-makers in public affairs and the built environment and to drive subscription revenue, and deploy interactive real-time analytical tools at high-stakes elections to give market participants an edge.
Our work increasingly drives public conversation through thoughtful analysis of the trends underlying movements in opinion. We have an exceptionally talented team of 10, based in the UK, US and the Netherlands.
In our next phase of growth we are looking for exceptional people to:
Deliver great outcomes for our clients: we provide analysis and advice, and want to add to our senior team people with experience advising Boards and senior decision-makers on their best course of action as supported by our analysis.
Help us expand the business commercially: capitalising on our political credentials to increase our share of corporate research budgets, and supporting our expansion into the US, Australia, New Zealand and the EU. We have strong footholds in each place and the task now is to build out substantial books of business in parallel with team growth.
Establish Stack publicly as leaders in the understanding of human behaviour: you will help us to be even more present in the public conversation, putting forward compelling analysis and building our profile as thoughtful analysts across politics and business.
Compensation: Competitive, and dependent on experience
Contract: Full time and permanent
Location: London, with flexible working available
Start Date: ASAP
