Business Development Manager

Stack is a high-growth data analytics and research firm based in London. We work with political parties, NGOs and companies of all sizes around the world to help them understand public opinion, how it affects them, and what they should do in response to it.

We are looking for an energetic and curious salesperson to sell our Omnibus and Data Strategy products, offering election-winning research and analysis to the wider market. You’ll be our first sales hire, so as BDM you’ll also be hugely important in helping us work out everything about our wider approach to business development.

Salary: Competitive, with commission, and dependent on experience
Contract:  Full time and permanent
Location: Aldgate, London
Start Date: ASAP 

What you’ll be doing:

Your days will be varied and full, with plenty of opportunity to learn. You’ll be:

  • Identifying, contacting, qualifying and closing sales with prospects.
  • Preparing the wider team for new business pitches with pertinent information gathered during prospecting.
  • Developing and maintaining a process for pipeline management and CRM.
  • Helping the whole of Stack think about sales and business development in a structured way.

What you’ll bring:

Your own way of thinking: we want to increase the cognitive diversity of the team with every new hire.

  • 2-3 years' experience of outbound B2B sales and generating new business, ideally in the research and data space.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and strong client service ethic.
  • Proven success in achieving revenue and sales targets.
  • An interest in politics and public opinion!
